Janis Adamek participated virtually at the CoDIT 2024 and presented the two papers “On the design of stabilizing FIR controllers” and “Privacy-preserving gradient-based fair federated learning”.

The 10th Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT) took place in Malta, Valetta and Janis joined virtually to present two papers from the field of encrypted learning and control. The first paper “On the design of stabilizing FIR controllers” is co-authored by Nils Schlüter and Moritz Schulze Darup and considers the design of a special class of controllers suitable for application in encrypted control. The second paper “Privacy-preserving gradient-based fair federated learning”, which is also written in cooperation with Moritz, tackles the problem of guaranteeing privacy regarding third parties for fair federated learning methods.
