For 2025, the group’s summer tour started with an extensive beach volleyball session and ended with a race on Europe's largest indoor go-kart track.

In summer, it is our tradition to spend one day full of activities together. It is the RCS’ summer tour we are talking about.

This year we started our tour with an extensive beach volleyball session at the university's sports facilities, which are close to our offices. Although it is not very common to play beach volleyball with more than one teammate, the group played a beautiful 6 vs. 6 to accommodate all motivated players and group mates. After every game, the players shuffled to keep the competition strong.

After the ‘clash’ in the sand, the group went out for a (very) short bike tour to Europe’s largest indoor go-kart track. There the group rented the whole track for 30 minutes. After extensive safety instructions from the track’s supervisors, the drivers were introduced to their karts. Everybody found a comfortable and fast racer. Similar to a Le Mans start, the race started out of the box, and the first driver battles heated the atmosphere. After the 30 minutes, the drivers saw the checkered flag and drove their karts to the box safely. Guess who won, and guess who had the fastest lap time on the track?

The day ended with a nice dinner at a restaurant close to the university. Everybody came home safely.
